Day 1
City to Central Rome Hotel

The Glory of Ancient Rome - Small Group
The tour starts from you hotel and continues with Colosseum visit. Once able to seat up to 50,000 spectators, building of the Colosseum began in 72 A.D and was finished 8 years later. The scene of wild entertainments often between man and beast mighty monument has been immortalized over the centuries. The Roman Forum was the real political centre of Republican and Imperial Rome, with its ancient basilicas, triumphal arches, honorary columns, and ancient cemeteries. At the centre of the Forum, after 20 centuries, it is possible to talk on the same cobble - stones of the Sacred Way, leading to the Capitoline Hill. The Venice Square, where at the centre rises the monumental complex dedicated to the King Victor Emmanuelle II in 1911.Day 3
Vatican Museums - Seat in Coach
Today you will travel by coach bus to Vatican City, the smallest independent sovereign state in the world. In the Vatican Museum, you will be shown a fine collection of antiques. The visit includes: The Pio Clementino halls (the Laocoon and Apollo Belvedere), the Candelabra Gallery, the fascinating Tapestry Gallery, and the Gallery of Maps. Then you will proceed to the Sistine Chapel, one of the greatest treasures of Rome, to admire the divine frescos of the Genesis and the Last Judgment by Michelangelo. The tour will end with the visit of St. Peter's Basilica, where you will see the art treasures of the largest Roman Catholic Church in the world, including the Pieta by Michelangelo. This tour ends in Vatican City, where you have time at leisure. Please make your own arrangements back to your hotel in Rome.Day 4
